I'm Back and #4 Chicken Block

I go missing for a few months and wouldn't you know it, return to a new revised blogger.
Good thing I was determined to create this post and it went fairly easy.  I may have to read the blogger overview to make sure I understand all the new changes.

I have missed my blogger friends,  I love reading your blogs and seeing your wonderful projects.  I have plans to visit you all again soon.  Fortunately we took some vacation time this summer and I worked on some quilt projects and I will  share them with you in future posts.

It's been awhile since I've blogged, because I was on
vacation in Hawaii spending time with my dear sister and
niece.   My sister decided to celebrate her birthday in Hawaii
and invited me along to share in the fun.  Of course I couldn't
say no when my sweet hubby volunteered to stay home and
take care of our 2 furry kids.  Well that and a way to escape
the heat of 105 - 110 degree temperatures.

This was the gorgeous view looking out from the lanai on
our fourth floor condo.  

I captured this beautiful rainbow on a day it sprinkled
a few light raindrops.

We saw these beautiful peacock's on our morning walks each day.

I laughed as I captured this guy strutting his stuff, turning full
circle and wiggling his tale feathers.   No doubt he was trying
to charm the ladies.

Who could resist laying out by this pool?

We visited my sisters friends who own a vacation condo on
the 12th floor of this tower, overlooking this gorgeous view
from one side.

 
And another gorgeous view of the ocean on this side.
Oops, I wish I had taken photo's of the inside of their
beautiful condo.  Can you tell I was mesmerized with the
landscape and forgot about taking inside photo's?
