Moose Pass Blocks

My New Years resolution this year was to sew a moose block every month so I could finish up this project I purchased back in 2002. Unfortunately other projects get in the way, yes beading, so I'm trying to play catch up. The large moose in the center is the block I made last night along with the checkerboard sashing. I was going to attempt another month, but decided against it. I pulled out the paper pieced tree patterns below and saw all those little pieces and chose to save it for tonight. So now you know where I'll be later if everything goes as planned.

Love the purple moose. It's good to wait a little before sewing the trees if you weren't really in the mood for them. Hooray on getting back on track though.

I too, love the purple moose - and the purple horned moose. Your work is amazing and I am a lucky recipient of some of it. True treasures in my life.
