I Won, I Won!! Yahoo!!

See that gorgeous dresden plate photo. Yes, Yes that's what I won. I'm so excited. Yesterday morning I went over to Kim's blog to see if she had drawn a winner yet and found no post. So late last night after an electrical problem at our business with the Electric company working until after midnight getting it repaired, I came home and sat in front of my computer to unwind.

Whew, I decided to check out Kim's blog again to see if she selected a winner and couldn't believe my eyes when I saw my name there clear as day. Wow, I won out of 1227 entries, how could that be? Amazing, I'm so blessed and this after a rough patch the past couple of weeks. It certainly made my day, I almost jumped out of my chair and squealed too. I want to Thank Kim Walus, a very talented designer for this beautiful dresden plate she made, I love it. If you haven't been to her site, click on the dresden plate to enter her blog. I also want to acknowledge Dawn Hay, one of the talented designers from "Among the Gum Tree Designers", the other logo to your right. Remember all those drawings the ATGT designers were having recently? Well I didn't actually win anything in the drawing, but I went over and congratulated the winners. Dawn said, she had decided to gift the first few people who congratulated the winners. Now wasn't that extra generous of her and so sweet. On Friday a squishy came in the mail with this beautiful fat quarter and variegated DMC thread from Dawn in Australia. Thank you again Dawn, your package put a big smile on my face and made my day.
