Anniversary G-I-V-E-A-W-A-Y - Giveaway Over Winner Announced

I am so thrilled to finally be posting my first anniversary giveaway.
Hopefully these items will get you in the spirit of Christmas.

I'll be giving away....

On the left the cute little snowman wall hanging is  16" X 15".
The adorable snowman panel with 16 blocks is almost 1 yard by 1-1/4 yards.
( Sorry, I didn't get a photo of the full panel, it would make a quick wallhanging.)
A red glass beaded bracelet with bag, both made by me.
And there will be one or more other goodies thrown in.

Here's what you need to do.

The holiday season can become really stressful with all the things to prepare and do.

1.  For 1 pt - Leave me a message telling me what christmas gifts you'll be making this year and how you plan to finish them in time with no stress.  I know start in June right?  Do you make a list, have a holiday planner, create a time schedule when certain gifts should be completed?    Do you have unfinished gift projects from last year like me?  Do you take photo's of all the gifts you make or document them from year to year so you don't forget what you've made each person?  I would love to read your ideas.

If you are someone who doesn't sew or make gifts, tell me if you have a Christmas decorating plan, a Christmas tradition or perhaps a favorite cookie or candy you make every year.

2. For 2 pts - Become a follower, or if you're already a follower let me know.

Will ship internationally.

Good Luck!!!!

Winner has been announced..

Thanks for stopping by.

I always take pictures of the person who was gifted with the gift I made them. This year, it's jammie bottoms for everyone. Have I even cut them out? Noooooooooooo. But, I planned on starting them after Thanksgiving. Completing them without stress? I'm sure some chocolate will be involved. Listening to books while working helps me keep on track. I can hardly wait to see everyone lined up and modeling their jammies for a good photo.
I'm a follower!! Cute giveaway.

My hand-made gifts ("cozy-wozies" that are on my blog) are about 75% done, not common but good this year with a late Thanksgiving. I don't document them as your questions suggest, but I do take photos. That helps in later years, and of course I need the pics for my blog. ;)
I've enjoyed following your blog since "meeting" you when I had a giveaway. They are great for making new friends! Happy Thanksgiving to all.

This year I'm making beaded bracelets for the ladies (photos on my blog) and handmade nail kits for the guys (photos not taken yet). Thankfully the bracelets are all done now - I made 20 for gifts and a few for me too. I started the nail kits this week and am a little over half finished - I'm making 10 of those for gifts. I should be finished by this weekend on those. I still have one other gift I need to make. LindaB, the jammie bottoms sound like a good possibility. Do you have a pattern you like and could you share the pattern number with me? The other thing I'm considering making are the grocery bags on Kim's site. I also have a couple of special friends I want to make something quilty for but haven't started yet.

This year I should be finished early enough to get things to the post office before the lines get too long - that will help avoid some of the stress. I really like the bulk rate boxes for mailing some of my stuff. Knowing those are available helps take the stress off too.

Kim, I'd like to be entered into your giveaway. Your items are adorable!!! I also think I'm a follower but am new to blogging so am not completely sure. I will be as soon as I post this, if not. Can you tell I want the 2 pts?

Hi Kim
I plan on making oilcloth bags for the big girls. They are about half done. I am also making pillowcases for everyone. I started them last year but an ice storm happened. We had power and lots of people here. I should get them done soon. Putting the names on is what takes time. I love your gifts. I am a follower.

Hi Kim,
Some years I have made gifts for Christmas but not this year. ( Well I may make a bracelet or two but nothing quilty) I have not really thought about Christmas gifts this year. We have been busy doing things around the yard and still are working inside the house.
We have often had a Christmas tree trimming party where we invite friends in to help us celebrate and decorate the tree. It is a nice way to have people gather for some Christmas cheer.
I hope you have a fabulous Christmas and I know you will finish the things that you really need to complete.
While I am not an official follower, your blog is on my blog list with your most current post noted.
Warmest regards,
Anna

Hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving, Kim.
Happy Anniversary!
Taking pictures of the gifts I make is a good idea because these days I don't always remember what I made for someone. I will do that.
I usually start my gifts around Oct. For me it helps me to work on them because I have a deadline.
Every year I have to make Fantasy Fudge by request from my kids. It is the recipe on the jar of marshmallow creme.

I am not officially a follower but I do have blog name on my side bar and come visit all the time.
So I will leave it up to you for the 2nd point.

Christmas gifts this year are table runners, hot pads, shirts, pin cushions for my quilt girls and my homemade peppermint candy. The stress goes right along with it, maybe I should take up speed walking....
Oh, and I follow you, too.

I'm on your follower and posted on my blog for ya!
Congrats on your anniversary!! Hasn't it been wonderful?
Every year at Christmas time I make smaller runners and pillows for a few friends that I know would appreciate the time and effort I put into the gift. There are a few people who aren't appreciative of handwork so they get the quick decision sale item! Tee Hee Hope your holidays are good ones and may Santa bring you everything you long for.

Without stress is a tough one. My big plan is to finish off the ones that have to be mailed the earliest and work from there;) I am making penny rugs, punch needle pillows and ornies, painted nativities, sewing boxes etc.

I don't know how I did it, but my gifts are all done. I have one more project that is a maybe... like it better than the one that I already completed... but its a strech goal... I think because I remember my mom sewing late a night the week before Christmas and all the stress involved I make it a point toget it done early.

Great giveaway question (with a great prize too!) Don't quote me but...I may have created a doable list of things to make this year...I've actually learned from all the things I've been making for my business which things I can push through quickly and have chosen to make those! I'm gonna make 5 decorated tees and 2 outfits like this: http://www.candiedfabrics.com/2-pairs-of-freshly-picked-outfits/
for nieces and the like. I'm also going to tie dye 3 lab coats for the lab prep people who set my laboratories up for me - that ought to be quick too...There's a couple other presents I'm not sure what to do yet. And then there's the 2 commission bags and trio of art quilts I've gotta do, so I have $$$ to buy things like Wii Beatles Rock Band...AAAHHHH!!!! I'm freaking out!!!!!

This is me every year...I start with such a logical plan of attack and it all goes kerflooey!

Oh Kim thank you so much for stopping by but I've had to make my giveaway for Aussie's only as International postage would break the budget!
Your blog, your sewing, your giveaway, is totally gorgeous ... if the same applies I totally understand why ;)
Next week I'll make my giveaway lighter and worldwide ... hope I see you back then ;)

I always make my disabled sister a quilt for Christmas, and can often be seen binding it on Christmas Eve, but this year I am feeling smug. I made the top about 18 months ago, and have quilted and bound it now. Only trouble is, I love this one, and am tempted to keep it for myself. Other than that, this year I am knitting scarfs, which I've never done before. I want to do 4, but have only finished one so far.

Congrats on your first anniversary. I have come from Quilt Hollow's site. I love the giveaway, so will have my fingers crossed

Kim, Mary sent me. Thank you for the chance to win. I actually do start my gifts in June because I am a teacher so I do make quite a bit when I am off.
Now for the unexpected gifts that I have to whip up, I make an appliqued kitchen towel, a set of matching coasters and a small table topper. These items whip up fast and friends love them.

Oh my goodness Kim, I can't believe that I missed this. I've been a little behind in my blog reading since Thanksgiving. Thanks for a wonderful giveaway. I am "hoping" to get quilts made for my children this year :-S I've got the fabric and the patterns in mind, now to find the time ;-)

Lovely giveaway! I have a list that I print out every year with everyone on it I need a gift for. Most of mine aren't hand made but having the list is good so I don't forget anyone! Thank you! :0)

Congratulations on your anniversary! (I think I totally missed mine.) I always love reading your blog. As for as Christmas presents, I only made two ornaments for exchanges. I don't have many gifts to buy, and none of the recipients are people I can make for. Bummer, I know. I am trying very hard to keep things simple and low-key this year.

Did'nt I follow your blog? Well, now I am a follower :o) Every year I try find the perfect gift to make. And I make the same gift to everyone. It can be small purse or an small wallhanging or tablecloths. I use to make thes gifts in November so that I can enjoy Advent, but this year I'll start make gifts for C-mas next week, after my examen....

I have grand plans in Sept for starting projects, but fall chores just keep me too busy and I love to outside as much as possible before our long winter begins. So, many of those dreamed of perfect gifts go unmade every year. But like clockwork, come Sept I'm thinking of gifts...
We usually put our tree up 10 days prior to Christmas....was less stressful on the kids and me not to start too early. We make a couple of batches of our German Crisps cookies for a decorating party with whoever comes..usually the kids and maybe their friends on occassion. Fun. It isn't Christmas without those cookies. I decorate the kitchen with poinsettia themed things...garlands, valances, tabletopper etc.

Happy Anniversay Kim.... I've just popped over from Quilt Hollow to check out your lovely blog.
I've been madly sewing Christmas pressies for the last couple of weeks (as i started too late yet again). So far i've completed a Christmas stocking, a library bag, several covered notebooks and am currently working on a couple of secret items. I always make a list of what i'd like to make so that i can prioritise them to ensure everything gets done in time!
I'm becoming a follower right now too!

Kim, This year I am anxious to start my decorating and holiday baking. However my sons love to help me so I will have to wait until they all get home for their breaks. Each has a favorite treat to make. the first will make tree shaped almond spritz the second will make english toffee and the third makes our Haystacks. They may help press my butter pecan dough into madeline molds and i will make the thumbprints with raspberry jelly.

My family and relatives don't like homemade gifts, sadly but truly:( So each year when I'm wandering around the shops I collect early the gifts to each memeber of my family. This way it is not a big stress for the end of the year.
I love making decorations for my house, especialy a country style, so that is why I fall in love with your giveaway game.
Hope you will add me in the game and I'm now your follower too!
Hugs,
Arien

What a wonderful giveaway. Our family tradition is putting together and decorating the Gingerbread house on Christmas Eve. Grandma(that's me)bakes the pieces but the children all have a hand in the rest. Surprisingly we have had some very beautiful results. As for my Christmas sewing well I'm so far behind that I just don't know how I will get finished in time. I am a follower
