Yeah!! I'm happy that I finished my Christmas gifts
and there wasn't even a long line
when I hit the post office yesterday.
I finished this little snowman project and sent it to my cousin.
The first project went so quickly I decided to make this
little quilt for my niece and her family.
Then remember when I won the incredibly beautiful
dresden plate from the designer Kim Walus here.
Well I decided to try out her tutorial
on the Moda bake shop site here.
I'm so pleased with how these table toppers
turned out that now I want to make
one for me. I did make them larger than
the original and I found the 18 degree ruler
at a local quilt store.
I sent this one to my sister inlaw and I
decided to use these lovely gold and red fabrics
(non Christmas) so she could leave it out and
enjoy it all year.

This one I made with mostly Aster Manor fabrics,
for my sister.
Thanks for stopping by and have a
joyous Christmas Season.

What a great feeling to have your gifts finished AND mailed! And what cute gifts you made. I agree with Barbara, those snowmen really are adorable. I'm sure your recipients will LOVE them.
Well, you have been busy with some very nice gifts. I did click on the dresden plates and you did such a great job on them.
those table toppers are gorgeous! I hope you do make yourself one and bring it to retreat! I think I have to add that ruler to my list of things to get (I just got a gift card to Joanns..wonder if they have it...)
Very cute snowman projects. The dresden plate table toppers are really cool. I like the blanket stitch around the scallops. Kudos for getting them done in time :0)

Lovely, lovely, lovely! It's the best feeling when you get to the post office and don't have to stand in a long line, isn't it?
