One of my other passions I haven't shared in awhile is beading. I love to create jewelry, mainly bracelets and these clay tiles caught my eye recently and instantly made me smile. I immediately knew they would be perfect for a good friend who loves roses and anything pink or purple. In fact I can't say I've met someone ( an adult woman ) who loves all things pink like this friend. Her birthday was earlier in the month so I made this tile bracelet and I'm so happy to report it was a big hit, she loved it. Sometimes when you buy or make a gift you wonder if the person really liked it or not. Well I know she loves it because she keeps telling me so. That's always a good feeling when someone loves what you create and so encouraging to continue your craft.
Every month our guild has a block lotto and we can choose to participate or not. This adorable Flip Flop pattern was one of our summer patterns and I couldn't resist making a whole quilt in this pattern. These are two of the blocks in progress. I have the blocks all completed now and laid out on my design wall waiting to be put together.
Thanks for stopping by my blog and have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Kim, your bracelet is so imaginative -- to think of your friend and envision what she would like just from seeing the tiles, perfect! And those blocks are adorable, they will make a whimsical project.
