Hey there, thanks for the comment on my blog, I'll keep you posted about the scrap results. I love the pink quilt with circles you have in your profile photo - did you make that? And the Ellen's row robin looks fabulous - I look forward to seeing the finished version. Doesn't it feel GREAT to finish a long-sitting UFO? I'm glad you're blogging and sharing your work. Keep it up!
Hi Leah, Thanks for checking out my blog, you're my first visitor.. Yeehaw!! I thought I'd play around and get used to blogging before I invited anyone to check it out. Thanks for the compliments on my quilts. The little pink quilt you see was made for a great niece and yes all I did was appliqued circles to the blocks, no pattern required. I loved the pretty pink fabrics I found and I used fuzzy soft minky type fabrics on the circles and on the back. I'll try to link to your blog and follow your creativity. If I can't figure it out, I may post you a message for some help.
No problem! Feel free to email me. There are a lot of ways to get yourself out there. Check out Lenna's creative art swaps (google it) and sign up for a swap, and you can also join ring surfs, like Quilting Bloggers, ArtQuilters, etc and get the tag on your site. And mostly just surfing around, visiting other sites and posting comments to people, usually they visit your site and you can share ideas. Really I probably spend WAYYYY too much time blog surfing that could/'Should' be spent making actual art, but.... OH WELL. Keep It Up!
