This is my scrappy stars and hearts quilt I started about 12 years ago. I was a newbie quilter then and used a heavy heat and bond for the applique. I learned quickly that it gummed up my needle and what a pain that was. I recently pulled out the few unfinished blocks and decided to get this top put together. I was hoping to have enough navy blue stars for the top border but unfortunately it's not to be. So this cute God Bless America fabric or green stars will have to do. I had to put this one down to work on another quilt for a Christmas gift and get it off to the quilter. I hope to quilt this one myself.
