The top two bracelets are made in a freeform technique I learned from Misha in a little mini class at the AZ Quilters Retreat. It's primarily the peyote stitch made with seed beeds, add a little pizazz with different size beads, pearls, crystals, etc., and Viola, you've got a beautiful designed bracelet.
I taught myself how to make the other two bracelets. The photo's of these bracelets were stunning in the magazine but they were made in dark colors. These fun spring colors appealed more to me this time of year. Beading seems to go a little quicker than quilting. I can sit down in an evening to watch TV and I'm rewarded with the fruit of my labor in a couple of hours. Maybe that's why I appreciate my quilts so much, I know how much time it takes to make them.
Joann's was having a huge sale and I had fun shopping for these beads. I finally used the gift card I received for Christmas, a bonus. I don't know what I'm going to make yet, but I'll have fun designing something.

As all of your work - more works of art. They are stunning pieces.
