Yes, I can and do some cooking. :) I made these German Apple Pancakes while my sister was visiting and just got a chance to post about them. They puff up in the oven and well they sort of fall. But they are still good.. Add a little syrup and whip cream and they are so yummy.
Here's the recipe:
4 eggs
3/4 c. flour
3/4 c. milk
1/4 c. butter
2 med. apples thinly sliced. ( but I cheated and used a pkg of frozen Stouffers Harvest Apples)
1/4 c. sugar - ( don't add if you cheat and use the Stouffers Harvest Apples -they are slightly sweetened)
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
Heat oven to 400 degrees. Place 2, 9 inch pie plates in oven. Beat eggs, flour, milk in small bowl on medium speed for 1 minute. Remove pans from oven. Place 2 Tbsp. butter in each and rotate until butter is melted and sides of pan are coated. Arrange half of apple slices in each pan, divide batter evenly between pans. Mix cinnamon and sugar and sprinkle over top. Bake uncovered until puffed and golden brown, 20-25 minutes. They came out perfect.

OMGosh Kim those look really yummy!! I'm going to make those, can you use canned apple? or is it better to use fresh? What kind of fresh apple do you use?
Crispy - with lots of questions cuz I don't bake much LOL.
