Christmas Gifts and I won a giveaway.

I was showered with lots of Quilty goodness
for Christmas.

I received this book and a gift
certificate for a fat quarter at a local
quilt store from the guild.  Can you believe
I received this wonderful hand applique book
just in time for my first hand applique project?
Love it and hope to learn more.

I received the sweet "Quilting Queen" sign
from the guild president Pam.

My dear friend Linda made this adorable little
nail file bag.  Look at those cute flowers stitched
on the front and the gold button and beaded clasp.

I also received some home made chocolates from
my friend Laura.  They were so pretty but
I ate them before I could get a photo.  Yum!
Patty also bought some chocolates from
Cerratas Fine Chocolates, in Glendale.
Yes, those disappeared
quickly also.  You didn't know
I like chocolate, well I do?

My sweet sister bought this fabric in yardage for me.
We saw this "Authentic" Fabric line by Sweetwater
at a quilt shop and she knew I loved it.

I saw the charm pack and the black polka
dot fabric on sale online awhile back
and bought it, so this sweetens the pot.

I won this book "Livin Large" by designer Heather Mulder Peterson
over at Anka's Treasures here from her recent giveaway.
My favorite pattern is the "Square Dance" quilt,
love it, and it's perfect for large floral prints.

Thank you so much Heather for your generous giveaway.

I didn't think it could get any better than this, all those lovely packages.

But it did, the sweetest fabric designer Jennifer Paganelli
from Sis Boom here sent me these
gorgeous fat quarters right before Christmas.
What a nice surprise, did I say I love all of her fabrics?

Thank you so much Jennifer for your generosity.

I'm eager to get sewing, I have a lot of projects to make this year.

Thanks for stopping by and have a creative day!

Wonderful gifts and prizes, lots to keep you busy this year. I did a bird with pieces, but I ended up using wool, love making and trying new things.
