Some things I've been working on.

It's no secret that some of my favorite fabrics are
novelty foods and batiks.

I decided to share them and made these sweet
baskets for my friend who loves purple
and my niece who loves blue.

A peek at the inside of each basket.

Speaking of novelty food fabrics, I picked up these fun
newly released fabrics at the quilt show.

I don't drink beer, but my dear hubby says it tastes good
with his pizza when we go out to a restaurant.
The cold beer will go well with the
pizza fabric in my stash.

Those pixie sticks, red vines and pickles
look almost edible.

One of the Quilt shop booths at the show was giving out
a free fat qtr to everyone with a coupon.
Good thing I saw the coupon inside the
program before we left the show and
selected this cute artsy fabric.

I started this little Christmas stitchery on linen back in
December and finally put the finishing touches on it.

This stitchery was a free pattern by Gail Pan Designs here.

I recently picked up my Stars and Hearts quilt
from the quilter.  I love the Sharon Schambers
Pantograph I chose for the quilting.
I finished it up last year and finally
got it to the quilter in January.

My scrappy pieced back.

I hope you're having a lovely spring day!

I've made one of those baskets, they are so much fun. Yours turned out very nice! Also, those novelty food fabrics are incredibly realistic. I guess one has to attend quilt shows to find fabrics as unique as those. I don't see anything like them in the quilt shops. I love them!

what fun baskets. I love them. I know I've seen that pattern somewhere, was it on Moda Bake Shop? I'm thinking it was a free pattern somewhere (pays me to think, doesn't it? LOL)

I think the quilting on your stars and hearts quilt is awesome. And what I really like is the scrappy back you did. I love that's it's just scrappy and fun.

Your baskets are so cute! I don't know why I've never sat down and made one myself. You can use them for so many things.
