Take a walk on the wild side.

I must confess I'm wild about animal prints.

I found these snazzy leopard print flip flops recently

and gave in to my weakness.

Yep, this is about as wild as I get.

We went up to the mountains for a getaway and

I decided this was the perfect back drop for

a photo op of my 9 Patch Pizzaz quilt top.

More animal prints combined with my

other obsessions, shoes and red fabrics.

I tried to take these photo's three times and wouldn't

you know the wind came up each time.

I started this quilt over a year ago and

I swear some of those 9 patches shrank when

I finally got around to putting them together.

Do you ever have that problem?

I finally finished this lap quilt top in April

and hope to get it quilted soon.

Thanks for stopping by and have a creative day.

I actually think the picture of the quilt looks very cool. Almost like it is blowing in the wind by itself. Great photos!

Cute quilt - and shoes! Love the background for your photo - and yes, sometime in the night - I think the shrinking fairy does shrink some of my blocks LOL!

What a perfect backdrop for your quilt!

Getting blocks right sized seems to be a challenge for me! I am getting a little better but I'm not looking forward to pulling out some blocks I have that I made a year ago.
