What I've been up to

I worked on a quilt top made with these gorgeous Rounneries
fabrics last week and my little quilt inspector fell asleep
on the job.   He made himself right at home and notice how
he took the liberty to change out my charms as he
stretched out.

Well tonight the little guy got stung by a bee and we
had to take him to the vet.  Poor little guy yelped and whimpered
a little, but he's one tough little dog.  I noticed the stinger in
the wound and pulled it out with kleenex in hand and
took it into the vet.  We actually thought a scorpion had
stung him, but the vet said, no that's a bee stinger.  A little
dose of prednisone and benadryl and he's a much happier
dog and fast asleep now.

The sweet Rae Ann invited me to do a guest post over
at Stash Manicure today, so stop in and say hello.
There are so many great ideas on how
to use up your stash.  I promise you won't
be disappointed.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you
have a Safe and Happy 4th of July weekend.

I love those fabrics, they are really beautiful.
My dog tries to catch them in his mouth, lol. He has gotten stung but luckily no reaction.

Hello Kim,

Thanks for entering my giveaway, and sharing with me your perspective on why you quilt. That is so neat you know someone that actually worked at a quilt magazine!!! :)

Oh Kim, that turned out sooooo pretty. I love the added little pinwheels scattered throughout. Looks like you were able to use your nickel packs. Will you still have some rouenneries yardage left to do our quilt together too? I'm using little pieces of mine in my Civil War Bride Quilt but am trying to save plenty of yardage for our project. It's so pretty, isn't it? Glad you were able to fondle and play with it on this pretty quilt. Also glad your little pup is feeling better.

Hey Kim,
great job on the stash manicure blog.
Great quilt top. Poor puppy. My dog has been at the vet for 2 days but she is doing a little better. She is 14 and things are just not working right for her.
