Yes, I know I haven't blogged in 2 weeks,
where does the time go?
I finally finished my second C-30's
block, I'm so pleased to report.
This is my second hand applique block and
you can read more about the technique
and medium I used here.
My girlfriend from Alaska is here visiting for the
week, so we've been playing catch up with
fun stories, good laughter and quality girl time.
Her daughter is a senior in high school and
she's here with her team for a basketball
tournament. Can you guess what we'll be
doing the next few days?
"Go Team"
She brought her first quilt to finish, so if
everything goes as planned she'll have
a finished quilt to take home.
Stay tuned and I'll be back
to share photo's.

So, so adorable Kim! You are doing such a beautiful job. Your quilt is going to be amazing. It's beginning to inspire me to get back to working on my Children of the 30's too. I'm so glad we took that class together.....now we can encourage each other to finish. Have a great time with your girlfriend. I think it's great that you're going to be helping her with her first quilt. Sounds like she caught the "quiltpox"!
