Another Landscape Row Robin Finish

So I've been experimenting with more free motion
thread painting on my sewing machine,
this time I made these cypress trees for
the landscape quilt below.

If you want to see my technique, you can
read how I made them and see some other trees
I made here.  I'm looking forward to making
leaves, flowers and a whole lot more with
this technique in the future.

This is the quilt before photo

and here is is the quilt after I sewed down the
cypress trees and added some grass
and flowers around the house
and surroundings.

And here is a close up view.

I am happy with the way this turned out and
hope Suze the creator/owner will be pleased with it.
I didn't exactly meet the deadline for this one
as I wasn't feeling very creative.
First my sewing machine went in to be serviced
and came back with the tension off.  Then you
could say I lost my Mojo for creative projects.
Now I can send this one on for the final round.
I hope to share photo's of all four landscape quilts
in February when they are complete.

Thanks for stopping by
and hope you have a creative day!

This turned out so cool! I love how much depth those trees add to the scene. I know what you mean about losing your mojo - happens to me in summer too.

Kim.
I love your wallhanging quilt- All those gorgeous details and embellishments you have added to make it yours. The trees look fabulous and I love the decorative flowers on the right side.
Thanks for sharing.
I also appreciate your visits to my blog- I don't always get a chance to reply but am so pleased you continue to stop by.
Regards,
Anna

Kim, these are beautiful! I can't believe they are done free-motion, and they add a great deal to the design. You are very talented at this. There's a lady in my sit and sew group who teaches this kind of thing, she calls it "thread-painting".

That looks fabulous, you are clever! I'd have to have a wine or two before I could even attempt it.
